FaceFolder (hereinafter "the App") is an application developed and operated by MagnetBros (hereinafter "the Developer").

The App takes the protection of your personal information very seriously and complies with the following Privacy Policy.

1. Collection and Use of Personal Information

The App does not collect or transmit any separate personal information of users to servers. There is no membership registration or login process, and all data generated while using the App is stored only on the user's device.

2. Use of Face Data

The App uses facial analysis technology (on-device machine learning) to provide its core functionality of photo organization.

• Data Collected: Facial landmark coordinates, head orientation (yaw, roll, pitch), and facial embeddings (numerical representations of facial features).
• Purpose: This data is used solely to automatically group photos of the same individual and to allow users to manage their photo gallery more efficiently.
• Third-party Sharing: No face data is shared with third parties or stored on external servers. All processing is performed locally on the user's device.

3. Storage and Management of Data

All data created or processed by the App (including face data and photo analysis information) is stored only in the local storage (internal storage) of the user's smartphone. The Developer cannot access the user's data and does not collect or store it on external servers.

4. Retention and Deletion of Data

• Storage Location: Face data is not provided to any servers or third parties and is stored only on your local device.
• Retention Period: Face data is retained on your device only for as long as the application is installed.
• Reason for Retention: We store this data locally to maintain your organized photo groups and recognized faces between sessions. This prevents the need to re-analyze your entire photo library every time you open the App, ensuring a fast and seamless user experience.
• Deletion:
  1. You can delete specific face data by deleting the corresponding photos or profiles within the App.
  2. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data, including face data, is immediately and permanently deleted from your device.

5. Guidance on the Use of Permissions

The App may request minimal device permissions (e.g., storage access) to provide the service. These permissions are used solely for the purpose of performing the App's functions and are not used for the purpose of collecting personal information.

6. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be modified to reflect changes in laws or services. If there are any changes, we will inform you through announcements within the App or other appropriate channels.
